 NNPCL stations have reduced petrol price to N860/litre — Marketers The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has reduced the pump prices of Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) sold at its stations to match that of the Dangote Petroleum Refinery. Our correspondents confirmed that some retail outlets owned by the NNPC adjusted their petrol pump price to N860 per litre on Monday, the same rate Dangote sells petrol at MRS filling stations in Lagos. Although there is no official communication from the NNPC Retail yet, the company’s stations in Lagos adjusted their pumps to N860 per litre, down from N945 as of Sunday. This comes a few days after the Dangote refinery reduced its ex-depot petrol price from N890 to N825 per litre. NNPC spokesperson Olufemi Soneye did not answer calls or reply to messages sent to his phone.  Tinubu extends immigration CG Nandap’s tenure till 2026 The Comptroller-General of Immigration, Kemi Nandap President Bola Tinubu has approved the extension of the tenure of the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Kemi Nandap, until December 31, 2026. Nandap, who joined the NIS on October 9, 1989, was appointed as Comptroller-General on March 1, 2024, with an initial tenure set to end on August 31, 2025. RISK 14 YEARS JAIL TERM IF SEX TAPE RELEASED.   The Lagos State Government has warned members of the public to desist from distributing footage of students of Chrisland Schools engaging in an “immoral act”. The PUNCH had reported that pupils from the elite private school located in Victoria Garden City had embarked on a trip to Dubai to participate in the World School Games between March 10 and 13, 2022 when the incident happened. Following the incident, the school authorities suspended the student indefinitely, stating that she was “a major actor” in an “immoral act”. But the mother of the student claimed that her daughter was drugged and raped by some male students of the school. Efforts to reach the school for clarification proved abortive as of the time of filing this report. Ronaldo revealed in a social media post last October that the couple were expecting twins. In a post released on the Manchester United forward’s Twitter account, they confirmed the birth of a baby girl. “It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away. It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel,” Ronaldo and Rodriguez said in a jointly-signed statement. “Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness.
